Biography
Karl Joyce oversees primary research. He has 18 years of quantitative and qualitative research experience, with a focus on financial services, telecom, technology, and new media.
Prior to joining Mintel, Karl spent 10 years at Ipsos, where he was a Research Director within Ipsos’ Media, Communications, and Technology/ Telecommunications division. Before Ipsos, Karl worked as a Senior Staff Writer and Lead Analyst at an environmental consulting firm, working directly with C-suite level staff from major waste management companies, including several Fortune 500 firms. His early career began in advertising, where he managed print campaigns within the Great Lakes region on behalf of a large Telecom company.
